In 1987, Advance Bright Ltd's factory was relocated to mainland China. This has allowed us to provide pricing even more competitive than before, as well as increase our output capacity. Rapid growth in the IC bonding and coating business enabled us to increase from 8 sets of machinery to 40 by 1993, as well as purchase plastic injection equipment and assembly lines. Today, our factory employs a total of eight SMT lines, 60 bonding machines, 47 injection machines, six full production assembly lines and over 2,000 staff.
We invest US$250,000 to $350,000 in R&D annually to develop games that meet the latest market trends. Most importantly, all games and accessories are compliant with some of the strictest safety requirements in the toy industry. These include the EU's Phthalates Directive, and a US legislation that bans the use of phthalates (DBP, DEHP, BBP, DINP, DNOP, DIDP) and bisphenol A in products to be used by children under the age of three.
